The Missouri River, also called the Mo, is a tailwater fishery that offers clear and consistent flows
throughout the year with trout populations around 5,000 fish per mile. This tremendous fishery is our home water. With one magnificent hatch after another, catching beautiful rainbows and that classic trophy brown trout is what every angler is casting for.
While the Mo is the prime river for most, from April through June and again in the late Fall, we fish it all year, even in the snow! While fishing from Holter Dam to Craig is the “go to float,” we love fishing every section of the MO and often float as far down as Cascade. There are beautiful sections that offer all of the fish you are hoping for while also offering so much of Montana’s beauty and often less people than the upper river.
