A tributary of the Missouri River, this 70-mile-long river is located in the Lewis and Clark Range of the Rocky Mountains and flows southeast to the Missouri near the fishing town of Craig. Separated into two sections, the Upper and Lower, each section is a committed float that will be a long day and worth every minute of it. Although it has a shorter float season, you will never forget this scenic trip that is so “fishy” you just will not want to stop casting the entire time.
Due to the unpredictable flow on the Dearborn, we do ask that you understand your trip plans may need to be changed. Any clients booking a trip on the Dearborn will know asap if the river is looking like it may not be floatable.
The average season for the Dearborn is from mid-May to mid-June and fishing is very dependent on consistent flows which can change quickly on the Dearborn. While there are a few more variables to floating the Dearborn, it is a trip that we love to share with others so if you are in for a long day that will leave you wanting more, give us a call.
