BLACKFOOT RIVER

Starting at the Continental Divide just north of Lincoln, MT the Blackfoot River flows westward entering the Clark Fork River east of Missoula. This big bug water brings hungry fish to the surface from early spring during the stonefly hatch to late October when the October Caddis hatch is quite possibly the best in the area.
